Broadway Church family,

These are unusual times in which we’re living right now, aren’t they? The corona virus has changed a lot of things for almost everyone. We’re all trying to navigate uncharted waters. And I wanted to take a moment and let you know what we’re doing at BCC to insure your health and well-being. Based on Governor Ducey’s statement on Sunday, March 15, and the Center for Disease Control, our team has decided to close our church campus to all activities for the next two weeks, thru the end of March. That means we’ll not be having regular church services on March 22 or 29.

However, we’re still going to be the church!

We’ll be streaming our service online on Sundays.

You can be part of it at 8, 9:30 and 11 am. The service will be available right here on our church website.

I want you to gather your family or your life group, or invite your neighbors and friends to get together and experience church right in your home! Because the church isn’t a building, it’s the people. And wherever you are, you are the church! We hope you’ll join us, and I’ll be preaching a special message that will relate to these extraordinary times and what we as Christians can do.

We’ve asked our children’s & student ministries to put together some materials that will be good for the kids. Please remember to continue your financial support by mailing your offering or give online.

Our New Hope Community Center will remain open at the normal hours. We want to continue meeting the needs of the community. However, the good people at the Hope Center will be mostly distributing food to those in need. We’ll be re-evaluating all this after a couple of weeks. You can stay informed through our church website, social media and emails we’ll be sending out.

You know what? Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity! Let’s as Christians seize this moment and rise up! Let the church be the church! Be a good neighbor and friend, and try to help others as much as you can. We can be a really good witness in trying times.
