Discipleship

A disciple is someone who believes in Jesus Christ, accepts Him as Lord and Savior, studies His Word, and strives to be more like Him.

At BCC, this is what we mean when we talk about making fully devoted followers of Christ.

Discipleship wasn’t our idea. It comes straight from Scripture.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Mentors are partnered with one mentee of the same gender.

Discipleship starts with a 6-week study. Each pair decides what to do together after that.

Discipleship is perfect for new Christians as well as long-time believers who feel stagnant. Come grow your faith through friendship!
